C. B. Reese will be riding in the 2009 Tour de BBQ hosted by the Livestrong Army of Kansas City. This event is in support of Cancer awareness and research; the ride starts and ends at the Liberty lot at the American Royal on Saturday, October 3rd. May 29, 2009:
The Memorial Day party was a huge success!!! The food went fast, with a little left over for lunch the next day. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate us so we were crammed indoors so no good photo opportunites but we did manage to snap some shots of the food in the smoker.
May 22, 2009:
Just returned from Texas and we are going to have to teach some of those folks about Q!! Preparing for our annual Memorial Day cookout; what's on the menu? Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken...you name it we've got it.
Sauce created today from our newest formula, an initial tease of sweetness followed by a very serious kick. We are getting close, taste test this weekend.

We are nearing sauce perfection. Pulled Pork sandwiches and pit beans made today with the new mop and bbq sauce.

Joined the Kansas City Barbeque Society, the leading sanctioning body for barbecue competitions accross the nation. This is our first step towards professional competition.
April 20, 2009:
First brisket prepared on the new smoker. Turned out excelent, very tender and juicy with a great smoked flavor. This will be a solid recipie for our company.
